Your privacy choices

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no revenue stream on this site that depends on doing so, and given the subject matter we consider health-inference ad targeting inappropriate.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states give you the right to opt out of such practices. Because we do not engage in them, there is nothing to opt out of — but if you would like your position recorded formally, email privacy@edtreatmentguides.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share” and we will confirm in writing.

We also honour Global Privacy Control signals automatically. If your browser or extension sends one, we treat it as a valid opt-out request without you having to do anything else.

Change your consent for analytics and affiliate cookies at any time. Rejecting them does not limit access to any content.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to receive a copy, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. To make a request, email privacy@edtreatmentguides.com and tell us:

• Which right you are exercising.
• Enough information for us to locate any records — typically the email address you corresponded from.
• The state or country you are making the request from, so we apply the right timeframe.

We respond within the period required by applicable law — generally 45 days in the US and one month in the UK and EEA. Because we collect so little, the honest answer for most visitors is that we hold nothing that identifies them.

You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of authorisation, and may ask you to confirm the agent’s authority directly.

We will not deny you access to content, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right. Everything on this site is free to read either way.

Some privacy laws let you limit the use of sensitive personal information, which can include health-related inferences. We do not collect health information about you, and we do not permit third parties to build health-based audience segments from your visit. If you would like that position confirmed in writing, email privacy@edtreatmentguides.com.

If we decline a request, we will tell you why. Several state laws give you the right to appeal that decision — reply to our response with the word “Appeal” and a different reviewer will consider it. You may also complain to your state attorney general or, in the UK and EEA, to your supervisory authority.
