How the service works
- You complete an online intake covering symptoms, medical history and current medications.
- A licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether a prescription is appropriate.
- If it is, the prescription is transmitted to the pharmacy you nominate.
- You collect and pay for the medication there, at whatever price you can find.
- There is nothing to cancel, because nothing recurs.
Vardenafil and avanafil: why the menu matters
Most ED telehealth offers sildenafil and tadalafil, because those two are cheap, generic and cover the majority of cases. But the class has four members, and the other two exist for reasons.
- Sildenafil
- The original. Around 30–60 minutes to work, roughly four to six hours of effect, and noticeably affected by a heavy meal. Cheapest by a distance. Full guide.
- Tadalafil
- Up to 36 hours of effect and available as a low daily dose, which removes the planning problem entirely. The one most men prefer once they have tried both. Full guide.
- Vardenafil
- Similar in profile to sildenafil, sometimes better tolerated by men who get flushing or headache. Worth trying before concluding the class has failed. Full guide.
- Avanafil
- The fastest onset of the four and the most selective, which can mean fewer visual and nasal side effects. Also the most expensive, since it is the newest. Full guide.
How to vet a telehealth service you have not heard of
This applies to every small operator in the category, not only this one. The checks are quick and they are the difference between a legitimate prescriber and a website.
- Is the prescribing clinician named, and licensed in your state? You are entitled to ask.
- Does the intake ask about nitrates, cardiac history and current medications? If it does not, leave.
- Is there a real, verifiable US address and a way to contact a human?
- Does it insist on a prescription, or does it offer to sell you tablets without one? The second is disqualifying.
- Is the pharmacy that fills it state-licensed and, ideally, accredited?
- Does the privacy policy say plainly whether health data goes to advertising platforms?
24hrDoc does not dispense medication
There are no product reviews here because there are no products. What you buy is a consultation; the prescription that results is yours to fill wherever you like. That is an advantage, not a gap — it lets you pair a proper clinical conversation with the cheapest possible fill.
For what the medication itself should cost, start with the retail benchmark:
